Roger’s Story

As a teenager, he was drawn into gangsterism, where violence, drugs, and crime became his reality. What started as selling drugs soon turned into a crippling 20-year addiction to Ice. His choices shattered his relationships, leaving him estranged from his wife and family.

At the age of 50 and desperate for change, Roger joined Breakthrough. There, he encountered the love of Christ, which transformed his heart and mind. With renewed faith and purpose, he completed the program, broke free from addiction, and reconciled with his family. Today, Roger is gainfully employed as a maintenance worker in a well-known church, using his story to inspire others to seek a new beginning, regardless of how old they are.
